Predictive Analysis of Graduate Earnings

THE PROBLEM :

College Education plays a key role in everyone's life unless, you are Bill Gates,Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and many more. (i can say them as Outliers).If we consider all the students attending colleges start earning money right after their graduation,end up paying off their college loan after 10 years from graduation on an average. This should be addressed.So lets dig into it and findout best colleges and degrees that a student should enroll to make worth of every penny they spent on college Education. .

SOLUTION :

Data is collected from the Depeartment of Education USA and dumped into locally hosted SQ-Lite databse for faster acess of data. Did some initial research of data by reading the data dictionary (1800 variables).Did EDA , Feature elmination , missing value imputation,machine learning and results.

Environment:

Tools used Tableau for Visualisation, jupyter Notebbok, Python and machine learning libraries from scikit learn.
